Es wird von Wissenschaftlern des Zentrums für Höhere Studien der Universität Leipzig und der Forschungsgruppe "Transferts culturels" am Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique Paris moderiert. Das Projekt stützt sich auf die internationale Kooperation des European Network in Universal and Global History, das der World History Association affiliiert ist.
