The Journal of Global South Studies is a biannual, multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed publication of the Association of Global South Studies, formerly the Association of Third World Studies. Beginning in 2017, the journal will be published by the University Press of Florida. We consider articles by established scholars and graduate students/ABDs alike.

JGSS is seeking original article submissions in any discipline related to the study of Latin America. Articles that explore some aspect of Latin America's place in the Global South are especially welcome, but all qualified submissions will be considered. If you are interested in having a Latin America-related article considered, please forward it to me by early January (for the spring issue) or early July (for the fall issue).

JGSS is also seeking an expanded network of reviewers. Service as an article reviewer will be voluntary, but will require relatively little work.
